We’ll focus on:

• Body handling, to practice feeling comfortable while being examined at the vet,groomed, washed, etc.
• Contact games to develop your communication and relationship.
  
• The basics of leash walking.
  
• Practicing calm behavior in a variety of environments and situations.
  
• An introduction to teaching recall.
  
• Activation games and tips for everyday life in central Stockholm.
  
• Being in a group of other puppies, which is a really good exercise in and of itself.

We will practice not greeting the other puppies during the course.
Between our games and exercises, we’ll discuss leadership, dog body language, stress, and wellness. You’ll also learn more about environmental training, socialization, and mental activation in everyday life.

You’ll get the opportunity to ask questions, and to make new connections with other local dog parents.
Puppies 10 weeks and up are welcome to join. The Puppy Course and Basics Course can sometimes be combined depending on how many are registered for each course.

After completing the Puppy Course, it’s great to follow up and continue working on the basics by attending the Young Dog Course.
